I invite you to embrace this healing process gently, so you can experience the profound rootedness of being truly connected and grounded in the earth. Our journey in this course begins with rediscovering what it feels like to be at one with nature. If possible, I encourage you to do this meditation outdoors, where you can feel the wonderful embrace of the earth the most.
In this section, Mother Gaia, our true mother is going to hold you and slow you down to be present in your body. This is intentional slowing down to start the healing process of becoming more aware within your body. Sadly, in our current society, go, go, go, is the norm. But, in this course, we're focusing on the EXACT opposite. We want presence in your body so that you can receive more abundance, feel more in your body, connect with nature, and so many other reasons that optimize your life.
While societal and cultural pressures often make it challenging to stay present in our bodies, our family dynamics and past lives can also play a significant role. Have you ever considered that your difficulty with presence might stem from unresolved issues in your past lives or repetitive generational patterns?
In this healing session, I encourage you to sit up and stay engaged so you can fully absorb and remember the insights that come through. Set a clear intention to explore the reasons behind your struggle with being present in your body. Is it linked to an event in your family's history or a recurring issue from a past life? Let’s open ourselves to the guidance of the spirit and uncover these deep-seated truths.
Make sure to have your journal handy to jot down your experiences and reflections after the session to help you process and understand the insights you gain.
For this healing, have your pen and paper ready to go. There are two approaches you can take for this exercise. First, you might start by writing "Dear (your name)," which sets the stage for receiving a message from your departed loved ones, angels, spirit guides, or ancestors. Or you can simply place your pen on the paper and let the words flow freely without direction. This technique is known as "scripting," a powerful healing practice where you allow any words to emerge naturally from your pen. Many healers believe that after a few pages (usually by page 3!) you begin to channel messages directly from the universe - pretty cool, right?
For this session, I encourage you to lie back, relax, and really settle into a comfortable space. Before we begin, set a clear intention that this Reiki session will help release any energies that are preventing you from feeling fully connected to your body and soul. This healing is designed to help you feel clear and unblocked, particularly within your chakras.
Create a nurturing environment around you. Gather all your comforting items—your water, blankets, stuffed animals, crystals, candles—anything that enhances your sense of comfort and readiness to receive.
Also, have a journal and pen within reach so that you can write about what comes up for you.
In this healing session, we'll focus deeply on the stomach area. Why? Because your gut is often considered a second "brain" in your body, a place where deep-seated trauma can linger. Whether it's childhood trauma, pain carried over from past lives, generational burdens, issues related to body image or eating, or struggles with self-acceptance, this session is designed to address these challenges.
For this session, I recommend sitting up to maintain alertness and ensure that you can recall the experience clearly, which is crucial for the journaling you'll do afterwards.
This healing session is designed to help you release any pain you're currently experiencing in your body. As we go through the process, I encourage you to continually ask yourself, "What is leaving my body right now?" Allow yourself to fully engage in this experience, embracing the purge on your journey of healing. This is your moment for deep release and transformation, my friend.
